Our cuRRiculum

Aligned with African Reality

iNERDE has adapted the revolution around STEM education to a curriculum for an African context. The sources materials are adapted to
present subjects and problems relevant in the students’ communities. Furthermore, the curriculum is tailored in consideration of the availability of materials and integration with the existing curriculum of the students’
schools.

Meets rigorous STEM standards

iNERDE’s curriculum is composed of
engaging and collaborative activities that
drives home the importance, excitement,
and applicability of STEAM education. A
gamut of topics drawn from STEM fields is
covered, as well as themes around careers,
social responsibility, and learning skills
including writing and public speaking. Field
trips and guest speakers allow the students
to see how technology is used in their
communities.

An Eclectic Approach to teaching

iNERDE’s curriculum combines various
approaches and methodologies to teach
depending on the aims of the lesson and the
abilities of the learners. Different teaching
methods are borrowed and adapted to suit the
requirement of the learners. This breaks the
monotony of the class and gives our teacher
more flexibility. This approach also makes our
classrooms atmosphere dynamic.

Practical & Adaptable

This activity-based, hands-on curriculum can
be implemented in a variety of settings, depending on the format of your program. The concepts are reinforced by a hands-on activity
requiring problem understanding, conception
and design of a solution, testing, and evaluation.
